Volvo Personvagnar AB (VCC) is the parent company within VCC group and comprises product development, production in Sweden (Torslanda, Skövde, Olofström), global purchasing, sales to all international markets, warranty, spare parts and treasury activities.
The Financial Reporting team consists of 13 employees and is responsible for monthly, quarterly and yearly closings and reporting for Volvo Personvagnar AB, Volvo Investment & Borrowing Entity (VIBE), Geely Sweden AB and some other Swedish companies. Areas of responsibility under Financial Reporting are Sales & Cost Accounting, Fixed Asset accounting, Pension and personnel expenses accounting, Inventory, Treasury Accounting, controlling of accounting department, preparation of Statutory Reports, etc.
The Financial Reporting team has the responsibility of coordinating accounting topics as well as issuing guidelines and principles for the organization to ensure adequate and high quality of accounting. The team represents Accounting in different projects or other situations where knowledge of central processes and Swedish accounting principles and recommendations are required.
The Financial Reporting department has extensive contacts with the different functions within Volvo Personvagnar AB.
We are searching for an Accountant.
Main tasks:
Accounting and reporting
Monthly closing of the books
Statutory reporting
Responsible for some of the processes within the group
Controlling and analysis
Participate in different projects within the organization
Drive for efficiency and improvements
Qualifications:
Bachelor of science in Business Administration, with a major in Finance and Accounting
Relevant working experience within Finance, Accounting or Auditing
Understanding of Swedish tax regulations
Good analytical skills and ability to drive for efficiency
Fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and English
Good computer skills, MS Office, preferably also SAP and Hyperion
