Monocl is expanding and we are looking for highly talented and driven Account Manager based at our HQ in Göteborg, Sweden. This is a terrific opportunity for an accomplished sales professional to have a significant and very visible impact selling a breakthrough SaaS platform. We expect you to immediately help us as an individual contributor in our rapidly expanding global sales team. You will be selling software and related professional services to customers in the life sciences industries, including pharmaceutical, biotech, scientific instrument and medical device companies.

You should have the confidence to target, educate, and persuade new customers to use our products and services in new and creative ways that benefit their business. We are a seeking a sales specialist with a proven track record selling technology, information solutions or services to decision makers and professionals across Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Marketing and Sales functions. We believe you have a passion for this industry and thrive in a dynamic, fast growing technology company.

You will effectively drive new opportunities, develop and manage strong customer relationships, and grow revenue within your target territory. This is a "hunter" position and requires the ability to identify prospects, execute client engagement meetings and deliver sales in an autonomous manner. Responsibilities
• Develop and close sales opportunities to meet/exceed our commercial targets
• Ensure key metrics and performance targets are effectively managed and tracked
• Effectively navigate and penetrate clients at different levels across matrixed organizations
• Efficiently organize customer meetings and presentations
• Provide ongoing updates and market feedback to the broader team
• Ability to travel (25-50%)

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required
• 2+ years of experience selling into the life sciences and/or pharmaceutical industries
• Demonstrated understanding of life sciences practices, processes and issues and ability to discuss related issues with customers or personnel at all levels within the organization
• Track record of successfully delivering results through use of metrics and analysis
• Proven ability to work well in a matrix environment, collaborate across multiple departments/organizations and influence at all levels
• Adaptable, flexible, open to diverse ways of thinking and diverse cultures.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation and training skills.
• Experience of working under pressure and with low degree of supervision.
• Ability to gain and retain customer confidence and respect
• Proven team player
