Interning at Nasdaq
The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with an outstanding opportunity to experience a relevant and immersive 10 week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning development opportunities and meet with senior leaders. This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August 2022.
The Team
In the System Integration & Performance team, we are a group pf highly motivated test engineers working with interesting and challenging projects - both internal and external. Our primary focus is to deliver high quality products that work seamlessly when integrated together - both in terms of workflow, and performance.
Your Role
As a QA intern you will work with one of our most complex and challenging projects, which includes products from all parts of our business. You will assist an existing team in automation of end-to-end test cases for this integration initiative.
Who we are looking for:
Passionate individual looking to start their career in technology
A motivated individual, who is currently pursuing a bachelor or master's degree in Computer Science or related domain with an anticipated graduation date after December 2022
In terms of technical skills, you need to be able to write code in Java at an intermediate level, have at least beginners level skills in scripting with shell or python, and understand RHEL systems like Linux.
What would be helpful:
To succeed in this role, you need to be structured, objective, and have a positive attitude.
A self-starter with evidence of intellectual curiosity
A critical thinker who exhibits problem solving abilities
Able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
Sample Projects:
The assignment will be to work together with a team of engineers and automate end to end integration test cases for one of our most complex and challenging delivery projects.
