hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Embark Studios AB i Stockholm As a World Designer at Embark, with your strong technical skills you will be responsible for designs and implementations for interactive gameplay components and activities in the game world, as well as systems and features for game modes. You will also take part in designing and implementing parts of our game world, creating locations that are excellent for immersing players in our game world, and providing great spaces for gameplay. You will do so as part of a cross disciplinary team of other designers, coders and artists, collaborating in delivering amazing player experiences in a PvPvE game.
Example of responsibilities
Design & implementation of or iteration on world-related gameplay systems
Collaboration with other areas of design to facilitate or help implementation features that are represented in the world/levels.
Help to identify areas in which workflows or tools can be improved, as well as assisting in the implementation/updating of tools.
Assist with level design in collaboration with other level designers as well as environment artists where needed.
Contribute to and own player experiences related to World Design, and systems.
Fully or partially own the experience design of world gameplay features.
We would love if you have
A creative and curious mind
3+ years of experience designing and making games.
A high degree of proficiency with the Unreal Engine and experience with Blueprint and scripting.
A good grasp of AAA PvP gameplay and game and systems design, including player psychology and gameplay mechanics and dynamics.
A good knowledge and familiarity with the various disciplines, coding, animation, game physics, 3D Art, etc.
A great team player that gets enjoyment out of creative collaboration in cross disciplinary groups.
Professional English communication skills.
