Within Processing Solutions & Equipment (PSE), we are now looking for a WCM Champion who will report to the Operational Excellence & WCM Director.
In the role, you will support the organisation to achieve targets and sustain the gains through WCM Implementation across the whole business, full end to end supply chain. You will coach and mentor the organization to ensure that the WCM activities related to teams, pillars and the governance structure are in place. You will also provide support in terms of examples, WCM methods and tools, best practices, specific training activities based on priorities linked to KPI & Losses.
What you will do
As our new WCM Champion you will:
Assess the progress and evolution of WCM methodology in organization, process, pillars & teams and ensure the final feedback sessions and alignment with responsible Manager, Pillars and teams' representatives.
Improve the assessment criteria and methodology and run simulation to understand the challenges and set reachable future targets for all areas
Perform cross-over audits/assessments with other champions
Follow up on WCM related performance supporting the identification of main issues and drive the strategy development at Global, Cluster and Site level
Support elaboration and execution the WCM Master Plan, discussing the assessment results and defining the future actions driving Benchmarking outside the organization and introducing new Tools and Methods into the WCM program
Coaching, Mentoring and Auditing of Pillar & Teams
Prepare, and deliver training/workshops
Motivate and empower people through positive attitude and stimulate change in traditional mind set
Provide methodological support to WCM ambassadors, coordinators and managers
Support benchmarking and cross-fertilization between internal & external organisations
This position can be located in Lund or Modena, but you will work in a global arena. You will travel around 25% of your time.
Who you are
To be successful in this role we believe that you are an inspiring person that can motivate people and drive change. We need a person who delivers results and can work independently as well as together with people all over the organization, exchanging information and supporting colleagues to achieve personal and team goals. You also have a systematic approach to problem solving and the ability to create strong partnership with our stakeholders. You can act as a change agent and facilitator, and you are an excellent communicator. We require proven track records of at least 5 years of hands-on experience within WCM methodology application, and at least 3 years of experience in guiding teams and individuals to the Continuous Improvement, especially in a non-production environment that includes project management. Being previously exposed to lead a global network as an informal leader is desired. You have an engineering university background and you are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
