Our consultant pool consist of Swedish and non Swedish consultants within the fields of embedded systems telecommunication, online solutions and application development. Now we are looking for new candidates to come work with us as consultants, on-site with our customers in Sweden.
• ** WCDMA Physical Layer Test Engineer, telecom in Sweden ***
As a test engineer, you will work in the development phase closely together with the development team to bring the physical layer into operation, running on the mobile phone hardware. You will develop test software that both interacts with the physical layer software and with base station simulator test equipment. You need a broad system and architecture knowledge, skills in working with test equipment in a lab environment and a deep understanding of the low level procedures in a mobile phone and how it communicates with a base station. Good English is essential.
Requested competence (please make sure this is documented in your CV)
• ) Experience in Network signalling testing (mobile or network)
• ) Experience from Physical layer testing or development
• ) Knowledge of UMTS, WCDMA, HSDPA, EUL, or LTE standards in the physical layer.
• ) Programming knowledge and a deep interest in testing and problem solving.
• ) Good to have experience in WCDMA/LTE protocol signalling, DSP, and algorithm simulation.
• ) C/C++ and Python experience is an asset.
• ) Having experience from working abroad in an international environment is advantageous.
• ) Good to have experience in testing with base station simulators.
General conditions
• ) Start: within 2-6 weeks, or when your current contract allows.
• ) Duration: 12-24 months on site in Sweden, with a high probability for extensions.
• ) Extent: full-time, 40h/week. Paid overtime can be requested by the customer.
• ) Compensation: 30 000 - 35 000 SEK gross (minus ca. 30% income tax) depending on qualifications. 25 paid vacation days/year. Priority medical care insurance, health care insurance, income level insurance, work liability insurance. In cases of an exceptional competence level we can offer a higher salary and/or additional benefits.
