Our Variability Reduction Team (VRT) is a part of Volvo Cars Torslanda's (VCT) Quality department and work in a both challenging and exciting working area. What you'll do
Main tasks as a project lead within the VRT-team is to lead and drive quality improvements both within the cross functional team as well as within the three-month ownership for end customer for the present car models in running production. In the role you act within one of seven main focus areas, Software/Electrical, Vehicle Engineering, Powertrain, Chassis, Interior/climate, Exterior and Painted Body & Closures. You will be responsible to monitor and act upon external and internal quality indicators. Furthermore you will lead and coach a project team, so that the team is able to reach the set quality targets. You will also:
* Secure that the follow up boards are continuously updated and up to date
* When required initiate and be present at kick-off meetings and pre-meetings
Do you fit the profile?
To fit the profile, we believe that you have; Technical competence at senior high school or university level, or equivalent working experience. You have knowledge about the processes, methods, and tools at Manufacturing and R&D and you are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

To be successful in this role you need to have a strong sense for customer satisfaction and have a positive attitude as well as being distinct and result oriented. You have good cooperation skills and ability to lead and develop networks, teams and individuals.
