Scope:
Volvo Studio Manager will lead the Volvo Studio based in Kungsträdgården, Stockholm. The Volvo Studio is a beacon for a retail experience that is run by Volvo Cars, with the ambition to build personal, direct relationships with people living and moving in urban locations across the globe. The overall responsibilities include the general management of the Volvo Studio, consulting customers through their preferred customer journey, enabling test drive experiences, various offer management such as the all-inclusive subscription Care by Volvo, and running event management.The Volvo Studios is also a first-to-market place for activation of new or evolved retail experience innovations. Overall offering a consumer experience that delivers on Volvo Cars' brand promises and overall supports the market leading position in Sweden.
You will be a natural part of the Volvo Car Sverige organisation in Gothenburg and secure a strong relationship, dialogue, teamwork and a sense of closeness between the Volvo Studio team and the rest of the organisation in Gothenburg.
Your key tasks
Through inspiration, motivation and exceptional leadership ability, you will enable the Volvo Studio Stockholm team to deliver an exceptional in-store experience. The overall task is to generate a high volume of genuine consumer interest in our brand and offer, as well as facilitating and enabling various experiences throughout the consumer shopping journey. This will be done through giving the highest level of service to our customers, always with a personal human touch, building long-term relationships. You will manage the operations of the Volvo Studio in all aspects, including the sales and customer consultant team, the event management, liaise with the café/catering partner, the conference management, the facility management, and the overall budget. In essence, making sure that the space is utilized with maximum brand and business value.
You will ensure that Volvo Studio act as a communication channel for various activities and initiatives from Volvo Cars, whilst securing commercial business performance KPIs and metrics related to different consumer experience, communication and sales ambitions are met. You will also make sure that the Volvo Studio has a role on the overall representation plan of physical retail spaces in the Stockholm area, enabling seamless collaboration with Volvo Cars' retail partners nearby.
As a Studio Manager you will also be the face and voice of the company and represent the Volvo Cars brand to Studio visitors, event participants and customers.
You and your skills
You have a University degree in academic qualification and senior experience within management.
You are fluent in both Swedish and English (written and spoken).
At least five years of managerial experience is a prerequisite.
It is an advantage to have knowledge and have worked with car sales, customer service and/or hospitality.

You are a strong relationship builder, hold outstanding communications and presentation skills to both large and small groups, has a customer experience obsession and have strong performance and target focus. You have an understanding and a passion for the digital world and its connection to physical spaces.
You are an accomplished, experienced and self-assured leader who see opportunities with new challenges and work well independently, as well as you are a great team player and team leader.
