About the position:
The Delivery Service team at UIQ Technology is the driving force behind the successful integration of the UIQ software product and the mobile phone manufacturer product. Right now, we are in an
exciting period of growth, and we are looking for skilled engineers to strengthen our team. The Delivery Services team is responsible for the integration and validation of the UIQ components in our
customer's software baseline, according to customer requirements before delivering it.
We are now looking for a Validation Engineer, with the mission to validate the UIQ product in the customer environment. The testing is mainly done with automated regression tests, manual tests and
stability tests, with the purpose to verify the integration of the UIQ components in the customer software baseline.
Work in this role will include test and QA activities such as developing test specifications, reviewing specifications, reviewing requirements, setting up the test environment (both hardware and
software), developing automated test scripts, executing manual and automated system tests and handling defects.
You will be part of a highly motivated team that are working closely with the customers and are focused to shorten the time to market for UIQ product projects.
Qualifications and experience:
• Good computer skills, especially in a Windows environment
• Scripting experience is valuable
• Work experience of test and verification
• Successfully delivered testing in development projects
• Good communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
