HemoCue R&D is strengthening and deepening its competencies. We are looking for an experienced medical device program manager for the role of one of leading our user experience, design verification testing and design validation clinical testing team in the area of point of care diagnostics, to develop and maintain analyzers and corresponding consumables.
You will be responsible for managing of the usability engineering and testing phases of product development and sustaining engineering project(s), accountable for content, timeline and budget. Depending of the type of project you will manage a team of engineers and scientists, some of which might be consultants and/or working off site or offshore. You will be direct personnel manager of a team of 5-10 people. You will be interacting with cross-functional resources from Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance, QA/RA in addition to R&D. You will prepare and present materials for Portfolio Planning Group meetings and project steering groups. You are expected to plan and maintain the budget for your projects and run their daily management/visual management processes under the Danaher Business System. You will have the personnel management responsibility for your team. We expect you to be a strong leader, an excellent communicator and an extremely process oriented person with a passion to encompass and deploy the Danaher Business System. Your main communication language will be English, and we expect near native level skills both in speaking and writing. You will report to the VP R&D. You will be placed in Ängelholm, Sweden
Qualification:
We are looking for a person with the following experience and qualification:
• MSc or the equivalent in a suitable field of engineering or science
• Medical Devices or diagnostics product development
• Usability Engineering, clinical testing
• Project Management
• Process Development
• People Management
• Documented experience of working under ISO 62366, 13485, FDA QSR
• You have excellent English in speech and writing, Swedish is an advantage
On a personal level, you expect to be a strong leader and you have excellent communications skills. process oriented person with a passion to encompass and deploy the Danaher Business System. Your main communication language will be English, and we expect near native level skills both in speaking and writing. We place great emphasis on personal qualities for this role.
