The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Eucation/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• Advanced experience with Java development
• Advanced experience with working with PostgreSQL
• Advanced knowledge of Java web applications (Java EE, PrimeFaces, Wildfly)
• Advanced experience with JPA/Hibernate
• Experience working with HTML.
• Experience working with Git and Maven
• Experience working with web based applications using ReactJS
• Experience working with RESTful services
• Experience of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
Experience in working in an international research organization.
• Experience with agile development.
• English
Meritous
• Experience with EPICS control system is considered an advantage.
Familiarity with accelerator facilities control systems.

About the position
• work as a Senior Java Developer, mainly backend
• Develop, test, document, deploy and support a Configuration Database in a test and production environment
• Develop, test, document, deploy and support a Deployment tool in test and production environment.
• Support a Role-Based Access Control in a production environment.
