The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• Senior developer with proficiency in C++ and/or C, and Python.
• Experience from various projects and/or companies in embedded system
• Deep understanding of embedded system
• Linux environment
• English profficiency
Nice to have
• Prometheus, Grafana or other visualization tools
• Jenkins and/or Zuul experience
• CD,Test Automation
• Worked with HIL (Hardware in a loop) rigs and automated test systems in automotive rigs.
• Knowledge of automotive network communication protocols (e.g. CAN, LIN, Ethernet, MOST, Flexray).
About the position
• Work as a senior software developer for embedded applications
• The team consist of senior developers with both specialist and generalist competence. The team has been looking into areas such as performance, developing tools for traceability and visualization.
• The clients department as a whole is working with many different areas from car feature development, SW architectural design, SW build tools & CI pipelines and system analyses solving issues which other teams have trouble figure out themselves.
• The teams are working in an agile way, with great independence, ownership and trust.
