The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• C++ development 10 year
• SQL development 10 year
• Documented software architecture work experience 5 year
• Experience with team work and team practices (such as XP practices or similar) 5 year
• Test automation / TDD experience 5 year
• Developing server solutions with HTML frontend 5 year
Working language: English
Meriting competence
• Oracle databas, PostgresSQL database
• Cloud (Kubernetes, Azure, Openshift)
• Volvo Product structure experience
• Infrastructure architecture
• IT security
• Messaging / MQ
About the position
• Work as a senior C++ developer
• Your team is part of an IT Delivery very closely connected to Product Development.
• The job is a mix of maintenance and new development of capabilities related to the Product (truck) characteristics, such as weight and dimensions
• We are doing modernization so we are trying out new Technologies and new ways of working for the path ahead.
