The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
Past experience in Java backend development
Strong coding ability in Java (8/10/11)
Experience with JDBC and JMS
Experience with the Spring framework
Experience with agile development
Working language: English
Meriting competence
• Experience with QA and test, TDD, Test automation
• Experience with:
* Spring Boot
* React/Javascript
* Kafka
* Docker/Kubernetes
* Basic Linux/Unix
* REST, Maven, Git
* Databases like Oracle, MongoDB, Postgres
About the position
• Work as a Java fullstack developer
• Daily work includes:
• Developing and maintaining integration components, provisioning platform (order management and orchestration) and support tools
• Constant improvement of the code base using new technologies
• Work with stakeholders and PO to define requirements, create detailed design and implement solutions as part of a team
• Write and execute unit and functional tests
• Perform code review, create deploy scripts and deploy instructions
• Document the technical solution
• Continuously improve the development processes within your team
• Analyze, design and implement automated tests and test frameworks
