Job Description
Are you analytical, curious and eager to continue to develop within the world of Treasury? We are currently seeking a Treasury Controller to join of our central Treasury team in Stockholm and contribute to Vattenfall's goal of becoming fossil-free within one generation.
As a Treasury Controller, you will play an essential role within Group Treasury and be responsible for the financial accounting connected to our Treasury activities. You will have close cooperation with Group Accounting, Control, and Tax. This is an excellent opportunity to grow and develop your skills in treasury operations while working in an international environment. You will work closely together with a colleague who shares the same tasks. Together, you will be responsible for:
Monthly and quarterly closing and reporting of Group Treasury transactions.
Analysis/reporting of the Treasury cash flow, financial net, and balance sheet.
Budget/forecast of Group Treasury Finance net.
Inquiry and analysis of the impact on net financial items, adjusted net debt, transaction and translation exposure of different funding alternatives, and changes in the debt/derivative portfolio.
Providing Investor Relations with analyses and presentation material on treasury-related items.
Specifications for the annual report notes and contact with internal/external auditors.
Being informed about IFRS/Local GAAP rules and ensuring their implementation in Vattenfall's treasury system.
Participation in the upgrade/development of the Treasury system.
Actively taking part in process improvement work in the daily operations and systems.
Your role is critical and vital in maintaining Vattenfall's financial reputation and standing in the industry, as well as ensuring that the company's financial reporting is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant.
Moreover, you will have the opportunity to participate in the upgrade/development of the treasury system and be a part of process improvement work in the daily operations and systems. Qualifications
Relevant university degree (e.g. Business/Accounting) or comparable training including accounting and finance.
At least 3 years of experience working with accounting and financial controlling in a large organization.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Fluent in written and spoken English and good knowledge of Swedish.

You are proactive, self-driven, and capable of recognizing issues and taking the initiative to find solutions. You thrive in a team environment but can also work independently. With an open mindset, you are always interested in exploring new processes and tools to drive continuous improvement.

It is meritorious if you have:
Experience working in a Treasury system.
A digital mindset and curiosity about how systems can be utilized to automate and drive process improvements.
Experience in SAP and/or Cognos.
Good knowledge of Treasury finance processes, including related information/reporting systems.
