* Deep dive into the machine learning and specifically the deep learning
* Working on TinyML machine learning on microcontroller under real-time condition
* Propose a number of methods to predict the weight estimation accurately by expanding the dataset with a broader range of weights
* Implement these methods in C on development boards/ Toyota Forklift
* Evaluate through practical tests in a demanding industrial environment
In this thesis project, You will develop an application that predicts the weight load on the Toyota truck's forks based on the sensor readings with the best performing model. This application typically requires a number of datasets from various Toyota Forklift trucks to train the model which requires the deep learning neural network's methods. Datasets collection will be according to different weights. The result will then be presented to several parties across the organization that would benefit from the application to survey the efficacy of this type of application.
SCOPE
The project is suitable for one or two students of Msc level. The task can be scaled.
