Electronic Defence Systems, a business area of Saab, is one of the world’s premier suppliers of solutions for surveillance, avionics and systems to detect, locate and protect against threat.
The Section Qualification and Test Equipment are responsible for qualification test of hardware as well as design and development of different test environments used for both production tests and development tests. The section is organized under Utility & Mission Systems and is one of eight sub-sections supporting our Projects with engineering resources.
Your future challenge
The section Qualification and Test Equipment shall now expand and need a Test System Developer. Your main tasks will be the following:
• Contribute in planning activities
• Authorize software requirements specification
• Design and development of test software (Labwindows, Teststand, C, C++ and script languages)
• Implementation, verification and validation of test systems.
• Analysis and problem investigations
The section is responsible for all software development of the Test System during the complete development chain.
Todays demands
We are looking for you that have more than 3 years of experience and are interested in test and development of test systems. It’s important that you are curious and like tough challenges both in terms of time as well as technical challenges. We think you have an educational background as Master of Science or Bachelor of Science within Electronics or Programming. Experience in programming is required and experience in electronic development and team leading is beneficial. All documentation is in English so you need to handle both Swedish and English.
