Test Fleet Management is part of Complete Vehicle organization within GTT. The Test Fleet Management team is responsible for managing the fleet of approximately 200 trucks and 100 trailers that are used in testing and verification.
Task and Responsibilities
Test Fleet Management is responsible of procuring, maintaining and divesting trucks and trailers. We are also responsible of matching test vehicles with projects testing needs.
As a Test Fleet Manager you have several tasks. Some examples of tasks are to make sure that the trucks that are used by the projects suit the needs of each task, that the trucks are legal for use on public roads in Sweden and for going on trips in Europe. Trucks need to be maintained in the correct way be fit for the different assignments. We support the users of the trucks with material such as transponders for road tolls needed on field trips abroad. We also support with knowledge of legislation.
Further Responsibilities include:
• Specification and procurement of new trucks to fulfill project requirements
• Register new vehicles including certificates
• Contact authorities to get vehicles approved
• Matching the project needs with vehicles
• Responsible that the vehicles in the fleet are maintained and repaired
• Responsible to decide if used vehicles shall be divested or scrapped at the end of the usable life
• Support the organization with knowledge concerning vehicles and usage of the vehicles

Qualifications:
To succeed in this position you need to be service minded and have a positive attitude when dealing with our many internal customers. We depend on being clear in how we express ourselves in the written English and Swedish languages. It is a benefit if you are knowledgeable in our truck range. If you have earlier experience in project management it is a benefit as some of our tasks include driving activities in cooperation with colleagues in other departments.
Other formal qualifications are following:
• University degree, Bachelor or similar work experiences
• Swedish Driving license, C or CE is a merit. Possibility to acquire is a requirement
• Practical experience of working with trucks is a merit
