On behalf of one of our clients, Dfind Science & Engineering is now looking for an test engineer for an exciting assignment.

Role description
The Exterior department within Body & Trim develops most of what you see on the outside of the car. We are responsible for the entire process of engineering design of exterior systems such as glass, bumpers & grilles, mouldings, lighting, and large injection moulded exterior plastic parts.
You will work in a creative environment where tomorrow's cars are shaped. We work in flexible cross-functional teams tailored to development tasks. In the team, we are working together, caring and helping each other. We have a wide interface that provides both an extensive contact network as well as knowledge in the many varied property areas.
We develop technology strategies and the implementation of advanced engineering, quality assurance of competitive concept solutions, system solutions and offers in the Exterior department area. We have cross functional operation of the department's commitment to product project and product maintenance over time.
The main tasks of this role include:
• Works independently within his/her area of competence/technology.
• Identifies and analyzes requirements and assesses tests needs with a Design Engineer.
• Plans the work as well as time and resource consumption.
• Assesses and presents test results suggests improvements and partakes in development of tools and methods.
• Is able to manage a project or team technologically.
• Can assess the fulfillment of the function in the developed suggestions.
• Has vision for future development.
• Work with testing of AHBC(Active High beam), includes to prepare cars before testing.
• Participate at expeditions.
Background
You have a university degree in mechanical design engineering, automotive engineering or similar. Applicants that have some experience within the automotive industry and more specifically in AHBC are preferred for this position but not a requirement.
You are a hands-on person that is analytical, driven and self-reliable. You have the ability to cooperate with people of different levels, both internally and externally, and to interact with different teams in order to reach your goals and business objectives. You are committed and take responsibility for decisions and results and you enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
You are fluent in Swedish and English.
