We are looking for a test engineer in acoustics for complete vehicles at RTRN!
The group Acoustics Complete Vehicle is involved in developing the trucks of the future regarding both legal requirements and driver-experienced acoustics.
You take responsibility by contributing your knowledge to design groups and development projects where you are involved and ensure that optimal requirements balancing for Scania are achieved. The acoustics of a complete vehicle must always have the conditions to meet legal requirements. At the end of the projects, you and your colleagues verify that both legal requirements and the cab sound environment meet Scania's high requirements.
Your tasks
The work as a development engineer with us involves developmental testing in the area of sound and vibration as well as sound quality evaluations. You also conduct pre-development work in acoustics together with our team of test engineers. You are also expected to spread your knowledge in the field of acoustics to colleagues.

• You have an understanding of acoustics and are familiar with NVH-related analysis.

Your profile
• You hold a bachelor's or master's degree
• You are also familiar with some of the mentioned topics: rotating machinery order analysis, torsional vibrations, structure-borne and air-borne noise sources, source ranking, source localization, sound quality, and psycho-acoustics, and relevant parameters such as loudness, tonality or tone to noise ratio
• To succeed in the role you have an entrepreneurial mindset, are innovative, take responsibility, are cooperative, and driven in your work
• You see problem-solving as a fun challenge
• You see teamwork as a matter of course, but can also work independently
• You have a class B driving license
Interest in vehicles in combination with practical or theoretical knowledge is an advantage.
