What's in it for you?
If you are looking for variation and are passionate about cars the Wind Tunnel Testing group is the place for you. You will be a part of the Vehicle Emission and Climate Testing department, they are developing and operating complete vehicle, system and component rigs within A&V Environments.
This is a chance for you to learn more about cars and be a part of the future vehicle, trough operating the rig and interact with our customers, both internal and external. The section is also responsible for pre-investigations regarding investment projects within the laboratory as well as maintenance and support on emission and gas distributions systems, after a certain time you may be involved in this as well.
What you'll do
You will on a daily basis operate one of the Wind Tunnels together with the tunnel technician to supply the customer with data according to predefined test programs. You will perform tests on vehicle in different stages of development, it can be a car made by mud! Usually its complete vehicle that you conduct various test on, by providing conditions in the rig that simulate real driving conditions.
Mostly you will be monitoring, but when needed you will perform maintenance on the rig. You will be responsible for verification testing according to test methods and requirements. In this position you will work irregular hours. You will work one Saturday per month and evening shifts every fourth week.
You and your skills
You are a curios person with some knowledge about vehicles. You are self-motivated and sees what need to be done. Further you are a team player and you contribute to the group with both your energy and your knowledge.
* Technical high school education
* Computer skills
* Service minded
* Experience of mechanical maintenance
* Driver's license (B-level)
We see that you will have the best ability to develop in this position if you have a technical understanding, but the most important is your passion for cars!
