We are looking for candidates with previous experience within technical safety engineering and/or energy, including but not limited to: HSE management, risk assessment (qualitative and quantitative), Risk identification workshops (HAZID, HAZOP and Design Review), ATEX or similar standards.
As our new Technical Safety Engineer, you will be part of our team in either Malmö, Gothenburg, Luleå, Västerås or Stockholm including project managers and technical experts. You will participate in small to large complex projects where new and conventional technologies in the energy sector is applied.
The position will offer you the opportunity to apply and further develop your technical and safety skills as well as your project management skills, while working on the projects supported by senior project management colleagues and technical experts. Furthermore, you will join appropriate competence team(s) for developing our business and your skills in selected areas for knowledge exchange and sharing of best practices.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
Lead, coordinate and prepare Safety and Health reports as well as other related input to permitting processes with the authorities for onshore and offshore facilities.
Lead and/or participate in safety/risk workshops where you will be responsible for workshop preparation and for documenting findings and actions. This includes both HAZID, HAZOP, ALARP and LOPA workshops.
Evaluate and perform reviews of ATEX and safety standards in relation to process facilities.
Leading, coordination and preparation of Risk assessments and Quantitative Risk Analyses (QRA).
Evaluating risk and risk reducing measures according to the ALARP principle, including cost benefit analysis.
To proactively contribute to the work in our competence teams in selected areas with knowledge sharing, collection of lessons learnt and development of best practices and tools.

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience with Safety engineering from the Energy or Process Industry sector.
Experience with leading and preparing safety reports and documentation for the authorities.
Understanding of work required to perform risk assessments/risk modelling, consequence analysis and quantitative risk analyses in design projects.
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
Interested in travelling to meetings and projects in Sweden and abroad.
