HELLY HANSEN is seeking a TECHNICAL PRODUCT DEVELOPER for HH Workwear.
Job purpose: Initiate and control all aspects of the product development process, including establishing and communicating all specifications for fit, sizing, fabrics, trims and special construction details.
Some of the key responsibilities:
• Work closely with Design and Category Management to evolve collection
• Establish product specifications, including measurement specification, fabrics, trims, fit and construction details
• Critique products for fit and sewing construction
• Interact with domestic and overseas contractors
• Manage bill of materials and costing sheets
Experience/Qualifications:
• 3/5 years of experience in developing apparel
• Textile knowledge, construction, fabric and patternmaking
• Well organised with attention to detail
• Computer literate ? Microsoft Office programs, Illustrator and Web PDM
• English speaking
Personal attributes:
• Active in outdoors
• Self-starter
• Team player with high flexibility
• Willing to travel
