The client is an international company that is a worldwide leader and innovator in the distribution and marketing of electronic components. Future Electronics headquarter is in Montreal and together they have 5000 employees in 40 countries. The client has a unique combination of peoples, programs and strategies making the company the largest and fastest growing electronics distributor. There are around 40 employees working at the Stockholm office, located in Kista.

Dina arbetsuppgifterThe Technical Manager is appointed to manage and co-ordinate Technical Solution Managers (TSM) team working in Sweden, Denmark and Norway. You will work both as a Manager and the mentor to the TSM team combining the management of technical issues with suppliers as well as driving 10% of the Company's local sales force. The TSM team is organized into a series of focus groups which allow the team to specialize on a product area whilst working as part of an overall team. You will represent the Company's interest at all technical levels, offering high level of support to increase the probability of winning an identified opportunity. You will maintain accurate customer information to ensure opportunities can be tracked to successful conclusions. You will also maintain specialist knowledge with regards to the latest product and technologies that are available whilst maximizing selling time.
KvalifikationerTo be qualified for this position you should have a degree in Electronic Engineering. We think that you have around 5 years of design experience within an electronics company or field. You are used to work in an international environment and are fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken. You apply knowledge effectively to meet immediate objectives and share expertise openly with others. You keep yourself up to date with the latest advances in your own field, consider practical applications and acts as a resource or expert to others outside of the department or team. Previous experience of working with project management is desirable.
We think that you have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. You are problem solving oriented and are able to focus on the end result. The person we are looking for is also supportive and proactive in the workplace. Since you will be working closely with your team members, as well as with other divisions in the company, you need to be good at promoting team spirit and provide clear team goals linked to business needs.
