Technical Expert DUX Quantitative Data Analyst

The department Strategy & Concept has the leading role for the unit deliveries in Annual Factory, Technology development factory and Concept factory. In addition, the department creates an understanding of consumer-driven opportunities and uses this knowledge during the Annual Factory & Technology Development Factory to create new offers for the customers. The group DUX Consumer Insights are positioned as an insider/outsider group in the organisation with purpose to raise awareness of preferable future scenarios from a customer perspective. Within the Electrics, Electronics and Chassi development areas, DUX consumer Insights focus on generating knowledge and insights about the future and it supports in the co-creation of strategies, competence plans and technical roadmaps for the engineering departments.

As Technical Expert DUX Quantitative Data Analyst you will be a domain expert within the rapidly growing area of data analysis. You need to create, develop and maintain an analysis framework with strong connection to virtual verification method development and execution. Lead and drive operational development within area, give input to and decision support to strategy, roadmaps and specific target setting as well as consolidate technical requirements for implementation of data collection. Understanding our users is key to drive a successful and profitable product development.

Main responsibilities

• Deliver on annual basis a documented Vision, Mission & Strategy within technical specialist (TS) area
• Deliver on annual basis a Benchmark report covering competitors, suppliers, authorities, etc.
• Deliver research work to define New Requirement Specifications and Corresponding Verification/Validation Method
• Secure Process, Methods & Tools within area and supervise Operational Development projects
• Initiate annual studies and actively support concept studies
• On request participate in cross-functional work, e.g. when defining superior system level, commonality work, etc.
• Secure succession by proactively provide mentoring and coaching.
• Proactively inform adjacent areas when content in own area of TS specialty changes
• Deliver education material and carry through education within TS area
• Deliver applications for research and innovation projects which are co-financed by the authorities
• Develop and maintain relations with universities through supervision of doctorate and thesis works
• Proactively participate in partnership and standardisation work
• Proactively participate in seminars, conferences and conventions
• On request support in contacts with authorities, e.g. in legal matters
• Drive change and implementation

Required qualifications

• Master degree or equivalent within relevant field
• 8 years of experience in Electrical Engineering
• Demonstrated initiative and capability to provide technical leadership to peers and management
• Experience of leading and development of teams
