Who is your future team?
In the Ecosystems team, we enable our customers to take Axis products to the next level by empowering them to adapt these to their own unique and novel needs. We make it possible to run custom applications on edge in our cameras and other devices, and we facilitate our customers' journey to cloud by working on secure, reliable, and convenient integration to cloud services.
We are proud of our developer community where we strive to promote creativity, engagement, and knowledge sharing through an active presence on GitHub and a commitment to open source. We also think we get the best outcomes by eating our own sausage - the platform that enables end-user customization is also what we use internally to innovate and extend the functionality of our products.
What you'll do here as a Solution Architect?
* Drive the technical architecture for ACAP - our Axis Camera Application Platform - and the accompanying SDKs
* Work closely together with software developers and team leads to support them in implementing and continuously evolving the architecture
* Align with other Axis R&D teams who own functionality and APIs that are exposed in SDKs to ensure a good developer experience
* Analyze the needs of both internal and external users of the platform, and find creative ways to reconcile and prioritize their requirements
* Participate in discussions with external partners and customers to guide and support them in developing applications for the platform
* Be a natural partner to the Engineering Manager and Product Manager in planning and assessing roadmap to ensure technical feasibility and architectural alignment with other teams
* Be a role model promoting technical best practices among developers
Who are we looking for?

We'd love to hear that you have:
* Solid professional experience in the software industry
* Extensive expertise in embedded systems
* Experience with designing and developing software platforms
* Previous experience of technical leadership, for example as an architect or team lead
* Passion and curiosity for technology
It's a bonus if you also have prior experience working with:
* Axis products and software ecosystem
* Cyber security
* Providing APIs externally, including API lifecycle management
* Machine learning on edge
