JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Tech-Transfer Scientist at Moleculent, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities related to design transfer from R&D to manufacturing. You will be at the forefront of translating innovative discoveries into scalable manufacturing. You will collaborate closely with the R&D team and Manufacturing Leads to transfer and optimize manufacturing processes, ensure consistent product quality, and work in conjunction with cross-functional teams to successfully bring our innovative products to market.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation of documentation, protocols, and SOPs for the manufacturing team

• Identify and address technical challenges related to process transfer, scale-up, and quality control to ensure consistently high-quality products.

• Conduct thorough process validation and verification studies to ensure reproducibility, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Perform risk assessments and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure robust and reliable manufacturing processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

To fit this role, you should hold a Master of Science degree/Ph.D. in molecular biology, biotechnology, molecular medicine, or a related scientific discipline. A deep technical understanding of Molecular Biology is essential. Proficiency in written and spoken English, along with strong MS Office skills, is required.

You have at least 2 years of proven experience in tech transfer within the life sciences industry, preferably with a focus on reagents or kits. Prior experience working in RnD with product development as an experimentalist is advantageous.

Further asked for qualifications:

• Strong understanding of product development and manufacturing processes, including process optimization, scale-up, and validation.

• Familiarity with quality control systems and regulatory guidelines.

• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools for process characterization and validation.

• Experience with project management and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously is desirable.

As a Tech-Transfer Scientist, you will encounter complex challenges related to process transfer, optimization, and quality control. Your ability to think critically, analyze data, and identify innovative solutions will be vital. Meticulous attention to detail is essential for ensuring accurate documentation, precise execution of processes, and maintaining product integrity throughout the transfer process.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is integral to the tech-transfer process. You must possess strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information, present findings, and articulate recommendations. Collaborating with R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, and other stakeholders requires active listening, diplomacy, and the ability to build consensus to drive projects forward.
