About the job We are the Value Stream "HR & Payroll" and we're looking for an Team Manager (TM) for 1-2 of our Cross Functional Teams (CFT). Our Stakeholder is the Group HR Director and the Heads of HR areas/ HR managers who form the Group HR Management Team.
Our responsibility is to secure the service delivery including both development and maintenance of any IT solutions /support system they might need. We need to analyze needs, propose solutions, coordinate development activities and align with service providers/vendors and other CFT.
Our total portfolio of HR & Payroll solutions are to great extend cloud based covering processes/areas like Recruitment, Onboarding, Transfer, Off boarding, Salary/Payroll (POL by CGI & HRMS by Oracle), Time, Training/LMS (SABA by Visma), Talent, Compensation & Benefits (HCM Fusion by Oracle), Development, Business Intelligence, Reporting etc.
As a Team manager you will be responsible for efficient way of working in the Cross Functional Team(s) (CFT) by ensuring competence development and staffing as well as supporting your team in the delivery of daily work and lead the employees toward Swedbanks Wanted Position. (Since we to a great extend work with Cloud solutions the supplier relation is also very important for the team and the development is to large extent done by the external consultants who can be seen as part of the "extended" CFT.)
Ensure workforce planning according to short and long term needs.
Coach, remove obstacles and support the team(s) to make sure that they can deliver efficiently
Recruit, develop and manage competences needed in CFT
Manage training needs, Salary and PD talks with members of CFT's
On-board/off-board employees from CFT
Ensure adequate staffing and competence for incident, problem and crisis management.
Ensure safe workplace and staff well-being, incl. rehabilitation opportunities
Responsibility to communicate and keep the staff informed
Management of staff budget (training, phone bills, team activities etc)
Operational risk responsibility
What you need to succeed We like to see that you have a vision for both yourself and your team and together with your employees you achieve common goals. You have strong leadership skills and you are not afraid to challenge others or be challenged by others. As a leader you have strong people and stakeholder management skills and have the ability to communicate clear and simple. As team manager you need to have a good understanding of IT and/or business as well as Swedbank processes. As team manager we like to see that you are open minded, structured and solution oriented. You have an inner drive to satisfy customer needs therefore good cooperation and flexibility is must. Change management and agile way of working experience can come handy in a team manger position. Relevant academic degree (MSc or bachelor) is a requirement.
Critical competencies:
Excellent people management skills (servant leader, building team, coach, grow, stretch performance)
Good understanding of software development/maintenance or implementation projects
Extensive experience from consulting or service delivery environment with proven results
Very good communication skills and ability to lead the way
Very good understanding of Swedbank processes (or potential to learn)
Ability to spot the gaps and find the way to fill those to enable high performance deliveries
