Aurobay is looking for a Team Manager for the Complete Engine Performance team. The Strategy & Concepts section works with bringing clarity to the strategic direction and proposing new ICE concepts by analyzing business needs, monitoring external activities, and working closely with product owners in the R&D group. The section also drives Advanced Engineering projects and ICE attribute performance in industrialization programs. Organization wise we have two teams: "Complete Engine Performance" and "Complete Engine System- & Design Studies" and we are now looking for a team manager for the Complete Engine Performance team.
You will lead and distribute the teams work with responsibility of product attribute performance development and target setting for new concept solutions.

What Will You Do?
You will continuously maintain insight in the team's complete work scope and support on needs basis in task management (defining, executing, and reporting). It will be your responsibility to make sure that work prioritization is based on business importance, balancing short- and long-term interests. You manage work in-flow by responding to new requests and identifying opportunities to support.
We expect you to pay interest in, and stay updated in, engine attribute performance e.g. effective requirement/target setting, documentation/ IT tools and road mapping/ competitor activities. It is also important that you continuously strive to improve working processes incl. real time data transparency with respect to engine attribute performance.
Keeping the complete teams short- and long-term output in focus you will distribute the work within the team and ensure that the critical competences are secured. Included in your recruitment responsibility is long-term competence planning. Finally, you are responsible for all HR related employee processes for example salary setting, performance development and long-term absences.
Do you fit the profile?
We believe you have at least Master's degree within Mechanical engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering or equivalent. Due to seniority of the position, we are looking for you who have at least 5 years or more working experience in automotive domain and product development knowledge.
It may be advantageous if you have an area of in dept expertise, such as combustion, gas exchange or exhaust aftertreatment from design & development or controls & calibration base. Other meritorious technical competences include multi-cylinder engine testing and vehicle, powertrain, or engine modelling.
