hela Sverige As a Team Manager within Engineering you will manage one of the teams delivering railway interlocking systems for the Nordic market. You will be responsible for developing your team, resource planning and continuously improving our area of business.
IN YOUR ROLE YOU WILL:
• Provide leadership/management and direction to the team of approximately 10 software configuration engineers (including yearly performance reviews and yearly salary reviews)
• Ensure delivery of Railway interlocking systems to customer projects - in line with the quality and delivery schedule agreed
• Take part in estimations in contract bid phases
• Plan and allocate resources within the region
• Monitor adherence to engineering processes to ensure the required system safety
• Drive and propose work improvements in processes and work flows
• Create and implement plans to improve employee skills, motivation and engagement
• Master Degree in Computer Science Engineering / Business Administration or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of engineering leadership experience in similar field of work
• Able to continuously optimise processes/tools/behaviours and take advantage of technical innovations in order to meet business requirements, customer needs and new market conditions
• Experience in Railway Signalling Industry is an advantage
• Able to adapt to changed plans and priorities to address resources and operational challenges
• Demonstrate good communication skills and able to guide, influence and convince others
• Self-motivated with very good management skills
• English and Swedish business fluent is required
