Could you be the Team Leader Safety in Stockholm we're looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive engineering and management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dedicated and creative teammates.
You'll provide pivotal leadership, expertise, and guidance to enable projects to achieve Safety Demonstration through Safety Cases and all related safety documents. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business ( Engineers Managers, and Project Managers), manage safety resources, and much more.
You'll specifically take care of leading a team of 6-8 Safety Engineers direct report, but also participate in management meetings and contribute to resource planning for the Portfolio solution and cross collaboration with ALSTOM networks sites. In parallel you will work on one or more projects as Safety Engineer.
We'll look to you for:
Providing leadership and expertise to Onboard projects portfolio
Participating in Management Meetings and providing bid estimates
Part of Core Team in one or more projects as Safety Engineer
Delivering status reports to the Regional Nordic Safety Manager or Senior Managers of Region Nordics
Leading interviews and participating in salary negotiations for Safety Engineer roles
Executing Line Management duties for assigned employees
Ensuring the staffing of projects with the right competence and safety workload visibility
Understand, challenge and demonstrate that the designs are safe, as per the safety standards

Advanced University or Engineering degree
Experience or understanding of the railway industry
Knowledge of safety standards (CENELEC EN50126, EN50129, etc.)
Familiarity with safety engineering method (HAZOP, FTA, FMEA) and risk management
A strong leadership record and working knowledge in multidimensional organization
Exceptional technical writing and communication skills
Effective communication skills in English; Swedish is preferable
