The finance department at Scania Finans is responsible for accounting and reporting, controlling, funding and authority reporting for seven branches and two legal units. The long-term objective of the department is to go from being mainly accounting and reporting focused to being a business support function with increased quality in all areas concerned. In order to achieve this objective, the focus on improvement work and process development is high. The current team leader for accounting and reporting is heading for new work tasks and therefore we are now looking for a successor.
Job description
The team leader's job is to be responsible for and to coordinate the accounting and reporting of Scania Finans and to improve and develop the work methods used. This means:
• Ensure that the accounting and reporting is accurate and in line with local legal requirements and Scania GAAP
• Improve accounting processes in order to increase quality, reduce lead times and standardize work methods
• Own the chart of accounts in the contract system as well as in the finance system
• Implement SRS and be responsible for the improvement group for accounting and reporting
• Be the accountant for the largest of the seven branches of the company
Job requirements
We are looking for a high potential candidate with ambitions to support our further developments in this area. We believe you have a couple of years of experience working with accounting, reporting and improvement work. The ideal candidate for this position will have:
• A degree in business administration or similar
• Good knowledge of accounting and reporting
• Experience of improvement work
• Good knowledge of SRS / SPS / Lean mindset and methods
• Proficiency in MS Office and HFM
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Swedish
You need to be analytical as well as creative when it comes to finding the appropriate methods and solutions to problems. As a person we believe you are communicative, structured, cooperative and a team player. For the right candidate we see good development potential further on.
In this position you will report to the Finance Manager of Scania Finans AB.
