As a Team Lead & Performance Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring that Fiedler & Lundgren's products are thoroughly tested and meet both global and local quality standards and regulations. In this position, you will lead and develop a team of dedicated lab technicians, taking full responsibility for their performance, engagement, and daily operations. You set the structure and direction for your team through daily morning meetings, where priorities are aligned and responsibilities clarified.
In addition to managing the team and coordinating the lab's day-to-day work, you will coordinate all quality control activities, and support production by maintaining high standards for product quality and hygiene across the factory. In close collaboration with production and stakeholders, you plan and oversee sampling, testing, and the timely release of materials and finished goods. You manage deviations, lead non-conformance processes (NCP), and train others in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
You are also responsible for hygiene governance, documentation, and compliance reporting, as well as maintaining quality manuals and driving continuous improvement in lab operations. The role also includes regular chemical, physical, and visual product analyses, equipment calibration and maintenance, and support for new product introductions and business projects. Budget follow-up, purchase orders, and oversight of global defect catalogues and related training are also part of your responsibilities. You will also handle consumer complaints, from registration to analysis and reporting, to drive improvements and ensure customer satisfaction.
The role is a consultancy assignment through Adecco, with a preferred start date as soon as possible and a planned duration until June 30, 2026. The position is based in Malmö, with regular daytime working hours Monday to Friday.
About you
You are a motivated and initiative-taking person who embraces responsibility and values teamwork. Your strong communication skills, both spoken and written, enable you to foster trust and collaboration among colleagues and stakeholders. With a sharp eye for detail and a systematic, analytical approach, you identify opportunities for improvement and effectively lead initiatives by engaging and motivating others. You approach your work with a structured mindset, ensuring high quality and consistent results in a dynamic environment.
Important for the role:
• Bachelor's degree in Food science, chemistry, or a related field
• Experience working in technical lab (food industry/medical)
• Previous experience in leading teams/people
• Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Fluent in Swedish and English
