We are now looking for a Global Sales Engineer, to join our Solution Management organization.

WHAT WILL YOU DO? The Global Sales Engineers team is the hub of the global sales engineer's network and Axis knowledge base in system and application matters. Together with business development and marketing we will drive Axis towards an application and solution oriented market approach. The team has been expanding and we are looking for a Global Sales Engineer that can lead the team with specific regions assigned.

In this role you will:

Help your colleagues prioritize cases escalated to Lund.
Assist the Sales Engineers in the region with the prioritization and follow through of large and complex sales projects where technology and business decisions merge.
Act as a coordinator to solve difficult technical problems.
Together with your peers in the GSE team you will strengthen and run the sales engineers network globally.
Deliver and coordinate regional and global trainings as an application expert.
You will be placed in Lund but the position requires approximately 40 days of travelling a year.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We are looking for a person with a technical interest and a natural system solution way of thinking. You are a leader and like to help your teammates to get things done. You have experience of taking your own decisions, are business oriented with a good understanding of the project sales cycle. You have excellent communication and networking skills and a good understanding of project sales. You are also fluent in written and oral English. You like documenting your findings and improving existing documentation. Good knowledge in other languages is considered a plus.

We also believe that you have:

Relevant (Bachelor's or Master's) degree or similar.
More than 3 years' experience within system engineering and at least some years with customer relations.
Several years of technical experience, preferably from the IT industry.
Knowledge in Computer Networks is greatly appreciated.
Documented work with system solutions close to end customers.
Experience from the project sales lifecycle.
A broad cross-cultural experience is highly appreciated.
THE SOLUTION MANAGEMENT UNIT Solution Management is globally responsible for the service offering and technical solutions support. This includes product management for system functions and software, design and coordination responsibility for service and support offerings, project sales support and partner interface in technical and connected strategic matters.
