Our customer is currently looking for an engineering Lead who can look upon accomplished teamwork as a performance indicator of real success. You can provide technical leadership over major projects and work with others in and outside of their team. These solutions facilitate a streamlined and entertaining gambling experience that is based on real data seasoned with innovation and the gathered expertise of their fantastic team members. Our customers payment solutions help them meet customer needs and exceed their expectations that makes them the number one choice in the mobile gaming industry.
As a technical leader, you not only have the technical chops to roll up your sleeves and provide technical leadership, but also the ability to manage a team of engineers. You optimize your own code, but also make sure engineers are able to optimize theirs. As a leader, you manage project goals, contribute to product strategy and help develop your team.
Responsibilities
• Recruitment - define needs and be involved in recruitment processes
• Plan and execute tasks according to roadmap together with the team
• Drive projects (either directly or by delegation)
• Facilitation and communication (team meetings, sync, etc.)
• Define, plan, execute maintenance tasks (bug fixes, refactoring, etc.)
• Coaching and mentoring of team members
• Contributing with technical knowledge to the product organization
• Help setting up and foster high impact team
• Team "well-being" - support team members as needed retrospectives, etc.
Qualifications
• Experience as team lead, scrum master, agile coach or similar
• Solid technical background as a senior developer
• Proven successful team lead skills
• Experience with lean/agile principles, guidelines and best practices
• Familiar with Atlassian products
• Always on top of the latest trends and dare to experiment
• Strive to continuously improve processes the way of working
• Strong communications skills
• Fluent and effective oral and written communication skills in English
• Great problem solver and have the ability to intermediate in a good way
Really nice if you have
• An agile skills certificate
• Experience from online gaming, online commerce and/or online entertainment and/or financial sector
• A contagious positive attitude every day you come to work!
