As the Tax Director Transfer Pricing you are responsible for all activities within the area of Transfer Pricing and for developing and driving this function to enable the vision, ambition, and the strategic objectives of the Tax Function and Essity as a whole. The role reports to the Vice President Tax at Essity and the location for this position is the Essity head office in the Waterfront Building in Stockholm. Together with our team of ten people we always strive to embrace Essity 's beliefs and behaviors - Care, Courage, Collaboration and Commitment.

Key responsibilities
As the Director of Transfer Pricing at Essity, you will play a pivotal role in developing and overseeing the company's global Transfer Pricing strategy. You will be responsible for shaping, implementing, and enforcing all Transfer Pricing processes, policies, and priorities for the group globally. You will ensure compliance and provide critical oversight and strategic direction within the Transfer Pricing area.
Leading and developing a high-performing team will be a key aspect of your position. You will mentor and guide your team to achieve excellence, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. You will be working with developing and implementing strategic alternatives in the Transfer Pricing area, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance our processes and drive efficiency. Additionally, you will be responsible for system development and necessary changes within the Transfer Pricing domain to ensure our operations remain agile and effective.
Your expertise will be crucial in performing tax work-streams in strategic projects, contributing to our overall business objectives. You will act as a strategic business partner and work closely with Global Business Services (GBS) on Transfer Pricing audits and other related matters, ensuring thorough and effective collaboration.
This role requires a proactive and strategic thinker with a strong background in Transfer Pricing and international taxation. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on Essity's global operations, driving success and ensuring compliance across all our markets.
Qualifications
You are a dedicated and trustworthy professional with a University Degree in Law or another relevant field. With extensive work experience in the Transfer Pricing area within a global environment, you bring knowledge and expertise to the table.
Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enable you to effectively convey complex and sensitive matters across all organizational levels. You have a proven track record in strategy development and implementation, showcasing your ability to drive initiatives and achieve results.
You possess solid system knowledge and have a strong understanding of data analytics, allowing you to make fact-based strategic decisions. Your structured and organized approach ensures that you can manage priorities effectively, even in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
You are a strong performer, delivering high-quality work. You are confident in your abilities and decisions, demonstrating high integrity. You also have the capacity to work collaboratively, making you a valuable team player. Fluency in English is essential and being able to travel a few times a year is both required and something you should enjoy.
