Your Role
Smart Eye is now looking for a Requirements Engineer to join our expanding Automotive Solutions division. In this role you will support our market-leading Interior Sensing products and are in a position with high visibility both internally and externally.
You will be responsible for our long-term relationships with customers and internally. The ideal candidate also will have a technical background in Interior Sensing / Camera systems.
We are looking for a highly creative, hands-on person who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company environment. You are a self-starter who is comfortable to work in a highly international setting, with customers and colleagues around the world.
You will join a global organization headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden with major offices in the United States, Egypt and satellite offices around the world. This role will be located in Gothenburg.
You will have an active impact of the processes and projects and will work in close cooperation with the other talented team members. Your contribution to how we can meet our customers needs with tomorrow's technology will be of crucial importance.

Location: Smart Eye AB, Headquarters (Gothenburg)
Responsibillties:
- Maintain a positive customer relationship as technical first point of contact
- Be an active member of the project team focused on meeting customer deliverables
- Coordinate activities between design engineering and test engineering
- Participate in system architecture definition
- Review customer product requirements
- Manage requirements analysis and traceability using Polarion or similar tool
- Allocate requirements to the product team competencies
- Map requirements to the system architecture, software architecture, software requirements, software design, and verification test plans
- Interact with pre-production development team to communicate new requirements and to understand internal requirements
- Lead problem solving resolution for customer issues
- Support HIL and SIL reprocessing of customer data
- Support functional safety analysis and cyber security compliance
- Support product verification and test activities
- Participate in DFMEAs
- Up to 15% domestic & international travel to customer sites, Smart Eye sites, and supplier sites is required
- Comply with IATF16949
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant systems engineering experience in automotive
- System hardware and software knowledge through work experience
- Requirements writing proficiency
- Experience with requirements management tools
- Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent problem-solving experience preferred
- Experience with ASIL safety requirements preferred
- Engineering Degree in systems or software engineering
