Electric Propulsion Systems (EPS) is responsible for the development of the majority of components for electrification of Hybrids and Electric Cars. High Voltage Batteries, Electric Motors, Inverters & Chargers are some of the important parts of our systems in these vehicles. Electric Propulsion Systems Design is a group within the department EPS. The group works cross-functional at EPS within areas as HV-System Design, Diagnostics & Dependability, Electrical Safety and Electrical Architecture.
We are now looking for a Systems Engineer with specialist knowledge and experience in automotive design. We see that you are a team leader with the ability to communicate and implement innovative ideas. You have the ability to analyze information and proposed solutions to determine if the design proposals are viable and you will assist in setting targets and subsequent problem solving.
Main responsibilities
* Lead the cross-functional System Development within EPS
* Responsible for establishing requirements on the HVDC-bus, e.g. Voltage Coordination
* Function realization and implementation of electrical safety requirements, e.g. Limited Operations Strategy (LOS), Battery disconnect
* Ensure that the concept solution is robust and includes development of functionality for fault handling
* Interpret legal requirements and standards affecting EPS systems and components
* Ensure that these requirements are handled within EPS
* Participate in the development and balancing of attribute requirements
* Identify needs for advanced engineering projects
Required qualifications
* B.Sc. within electronics, physics, mechatronics, or similar education
M.Sc is meritorious
* Wide knowledge of EPS functions and sub-systems
* Deep knowledge within any of the related technologies
* English, both written and spoken
* Drivers' license
* Experience from EMC/EMI is meritorious
* Experience from high voltage systems in non-automotive industries is beneficial
* Experience from assignment leadership in the automotive industry is an asset
