Who are we?
Connected Vehicle Technologies refers to the development and deployment of a fully connected and automated vehicle providing new transport solutions. Connectivity as a key enabler for providing advanced real-time services is completing the other advanced technologies which will enable automated operation of our products a reality in the future. Intelligent Transport Systems which brings in Information and Communication Technologies in our transportation system includes real-time connectivity between vehicles and infrastructure (e.g. vehicle-to-vehicle & vehicle-to-infrastructure) aiming: reducing congestion, increasing capacity and improving safety.
CVT is a global R&D group within Group Trucks Technology, established to secure the development of new services and solutions based on connectivity, map and positioning technologies. We have extensive experience delivering innovative solutions and our engineers deliver state of the art vehicle communication capabilities for increased safety, efficiency and mobility.
We are now looking for a systems engineer to address the increased need for strengthen of competencies within Connected Vehicle Technologies.
Position Description
You will work in a team responsible for development of new systems and technology. Our mission is to deliver world class hardware and software products in the area of vehicle connectivity. You can look forward to an individual and inspiring position together with many enthusiastic and professional colleagues. You will in this role drive and participate in various product development projects to improve existing and/or create new solutions. Additional to high interest in development of technical solution, team working and innovative thinking provide you very good opportunities to advance in your carrier.

Required technical competencies:
• Software Development in Modern C++ 14/17
• Embedded Linux, Yocto
• Communication protocols CAN, TCP/IP etc.
• Continuous Integration, git, Jenkins
• SAFe, Scrum
Qualifications
• M.Sc. in Electrical & Electronics, Software and/or Computer engineering
• 2 years of experience in software development
• Fluent in English, spoken and written
Preferred qualifications
• Electrical & Electronics hardware configuration and setup (specifically RF systems)
• Short Range Communication (802.11p)
• Vehicular AdHoc Network (VANET)
• Scripting languages like Python and Bash
• Cyber Security, SSL/TLS
• Positioning (GPS)
