Our Exciting Opportunity
We are now looking for a Systems Developer to design products (units, nodes, networks, systems and solutions). Your role will include all development activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, hardware design, software design, integration, verification, simulations, tools design, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation.
PDU CDS Systems is the department developing system solutions for Ericsson Radio base Stations with the main focus on 5G. We develop Equipment and Resource Handling, IP Transport, Interconnect (fronthaul), Synchronization solutions, and Architecture for all standards. We drive strategy and development plans for a multi-standard Radio Base Station platforms. We are working in teams and our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.
The Equipment Handling area secures that we handle the equipment in the Radio Base Stations, from radio to transport interface in the best possible way to optimize the ease of use and performance for the customers. We are currently working mostly with 5G in areas of IOT, Cloud, Advanced Antenna Systems, Massive MIMO and Beamforming.
You will
Drive strategic technical leadership
Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling
Develop and test high quality products
Perform trouble shooting and customer support
Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
Develop competence in technical domain
Drive and participate in solution studies, defining technical requirements based on customer requests and product improvements
Perform conceptual system studies to support business decisions and to take the responsibility for driving a specific solution
Bring the customer perspective into our design solutions in collaboration with strategic product owners
Cooperate with designers in Software, Hardware, and verification as well as other system developers
To be successful in the role you must have
The ability to plan and drive as well as work in teams
Experience in telecommunications or systemization
Good communication skills in English
Logical and orderly approach to analyzing problems, prioritizing work and planning actions
Positive approach to innovating, adapting, and responding to change
Master of Science degree or the equivalent level of knowledge
