In System Simulation group, part of the Advanced Technology & Research division of Group Trucks Technology, you will be responsible to carry out simulation activities and analysis in electromobility areas for all our concepts (HEV, PHEV, FEV). You will also participate to the development of specific Methods & tools related to electromobility and transport solution that will be applied into different Research and Advanced Technology projects.

Description of main activities:
• New model/concept development including energy management strategies
• Perform vehicle simulations and optimization within electromobility (Busses, trucks)
• Fuel economy and Performance feature analysis & optimization
• Lead activities in relation with simulation methodologies
• Be active in the Global Simulation Platform network

You will report to Project Manager/Feature specialist/Director System Simulation

Practical experience & profile:
• Master?s degree in mechanical or electrical and electronics engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in simulation and model development (or embedded control software development)
• Very good knowledge on vehicle, electromobility & powertrain technologies
• Good skills in control systems linked to vehicle motion
• Kinematic drivelines knowledge and expertise
• Few years in developing models in matlab/Simulink
• Knowledge and understanding of the principles of Systems Engineering
• Good abilities to analyze and optimize energy efficiency and vehicle performance
• Ability to work in group as well as with people from other culture
• Big interest in technical field
• Quick learner
• Autonomous
• Innovative & motivated person
