We currently have the following job opening;
System Project Leaders Wheel Suspension
We are now looking for three System Project Leaders for the systems Front axle, Rear Axle and Tunable Components. The System Project Leader leads the Wheel Suspension activities in a cross functional team all through the industrialisation phase. You will be a member of the chassis project leader team and report to Chassis Unit Project leader. You will have full responsibility to deliver a complete system into the launch plants whether in Asia or Europe. In China a launch team will support and also challenge for the best solutions.
The wheel suspension team consists of approximately 25 persons and is growing. Our department creates the front and rear axle of cars for several platforms which in next step are built into several different cars for different OEM brands. You will be part of the complete Wheel suspension team located in Gothenburg with persons from Sweden, China, Hungary, India etc.
Responsibilities/Tasks
• Lead and coordinate cross functional team (System/design engineers, Purchasing, SQM, ME, CAE, validation, etc.)
• Drive, develop and finalize development of engineering solutions to meet project requirements
• Establish necessary engineering documents as input to supplier sourcing
• Define, plan and monitor system development, testing and validation
• Define interfaces and participate in mechanical and electrical/SW integration meetings
• Support pre-serial vehicle builds
• Align solution of conceptual issues with System Concept Manager
Profile and Background
• Minimum B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience from Automotive Development and development of system and components within wheel suspension is a bonus
• Knowledge about trends and applicability of new technologies
• Knowledge in Catia V5, Team Center and Microsoft Office is helpful
• You have a positive attitude and interest in working in, and leading, project teams and cross functional teams where you find solutions to complex problems together with other people/teams. You are willing to help others and to ask for help when needed.
• Leadership skills with ability to inspire, drive, motivate and coach team members
• Have an openness and awareness of Asian, European and foreign cultures
• You have an ability to work independently and take decisions to deliver according to targets and project plans in a changing environment
• Driver's License Type B preferred
• Large Interest in car technology
• Ability to communicate clearly and be perceptive
