China Euro Vehicle Technology AB, CEVT, is a development centre for future cars of the Geely Group.

CEVT covers all aspects of passenger car development - from the total architecture, powertrain and drive line components, to top hat engineering as well as the vehicles' exterior design. We currently have the following job opening;

Responsibilities and tasks

• Technical system responsible over time to ensure commonality and efficient change management
• Drive, develop and establish system requirements
• Develop system technology strategies and commonalities
• Act as Concept leader until the gateway Program Confirmation
• Develop system design solutions together with our partners and suppliers, based on best practice to meet new requirements
• Define and plan component and system simulation, testing and validation together with our CAE team, the System Verification Leader and our partners
• Lead and coordinate cross functional team (System/design engineers, Purchasing, Supplier Quality Management engineers, Manufacturing Engineering, CAE etc.) in concept phase

Requirements

• BSc. or M.Sc. Eng
• 5-10 years' experience of automotive development
• Relevant experience of the specific system area of AWD/driveline
• Experience of project management
• Experience of supplier management
• Ability to drive, motivate and convinc
• Persistency to pursue targets, take decisions and able to respond to changing priorities
• A creative and curious mind
• Fluency in English, both oral and written
• Cultural awareness, especially Asian - European culture
