hela Sverige At Perstorp, we have organized our OPEX Industrial Digitalization team within the ISC Operational Excellence group, to stay close to our relevant business stakeholders - Integrated Supply Chain including our global sites, procurement, logistics & supply. The OPEX Industrial Digitalization is split into two agile teams where one is responsible for our Global MES/MOM platforms and the other for our Advanced Process Control Centre of Expertise and Advanced Analytics/ML. In our efforts to enabling our smart factories, we are now looking to grow the team with a new System Engineer.
About the position
This role combines full stack software development with continuous process industry in a global context, governed on data acquisition, system integration and data visualisation. We are seeking a software or systems engineer with over five years of experience who is enthusiastic about making a meaningful impact and contributing in a hands-on environment. Experience from manufacturing industry or process industry is preferred but not essential.
What will you do?
Implementing apps and services for integrating various MOM functions with external functions such as ERP, BI, DCS or standalone equipment modules.
Configure and maintain DevOps, continuous integration and deployment scenarios for cloud services.
Configuring services for reading/subscribing to process data from different systems via standard protocols such as OPC-UA and MQTT.
Querying data from various data sources.
Ingesting timeseries data into data lake solutions, for instance Delta Lake.
Cleaning and transforming data as well as securing quality of data and metadata.
Building data models (e.g. translating business rules into relations between entities) that can be ingested by visualization or reporting tools, different applications within the manufacturing execution system flora, and high-volume data analysis.

Experience/Qualifications
Educational background: Education from relevant field of Engineering Sciences or equivalent.
Experience from managing and maintaining dataflows in manufacturing operations environment.
Professional backend and frontend development experience using modern web frameworks.
Strong knowledge in executing clean, high quality and well tested code.
Knowledge of industrial automation, preferably process automation.
Fluent in Swedish and English.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Skills
Good knowledge in C#, Python, JS, CSS and SQL.
Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, i.e., Git.
Familiarity with continuous integration (Azure DevOps).
Other information
This position is a permanent position based in Perstorp or Malmö (preferably Perstorp as most of the team is based there). We work in a hybrid work arrangement, where we expect office appearance at least two working days per week.
