hela Sverige Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Do you want to be a part of Scania's inhouse developed test platform which is used for testing our driveline components?
The platform has a wide usage but mostly for Transmission, Hybrid and Engine testing. Together with our colleagues at the Powertrain Testing department we are responsible for both high quality and the uptime in the testbeds. The future is already here and we have many ongoing projects where the e-mobility is challenging us to develop new solutions and leading us in new directions.
You will be expected to
• Continue to develop our existing test platform
• Create and develop simulated models for existing and new systems
• Support Research & Development in the testing process
• Be a member in cross functional projects for new testing systems
You will be supported in all of these tasks by the rest of the team. We are an experienced group of 10 engineers who work together, sharing knowledge to help each other to meet our common goals.
Your profile
We are looking for a person who can combine software development and innovation with the ability to understand what we are testing. You are a team player and understand the importance of being one. You should have competence or at least the will to develop skills in the following areas:
• PC based Control Systems
• LabVIEW/GOOP/TwinCAT
• Profibus/EtherCAT/CAN
• Modular Platform programming
• ASAM ODS / SQL database
Knowledge in different development techniques is a merit but not a requirement. You most likely hold a Bachelor or a Master degree in Engineering (Mechatronic/Physics/Embedded Control) or with equivalent experience from earlier positions. You should have good communication skills at least English but preferably also Swedish, be able to work pro-actively and be able to form good working relationships with a diverse range of functions within Scania.
Benefits
We offer you an creative and inspiring work environment where we respect each other. You will have the chance to form and develop your role and your future. In addition to extensive personal and professional development opportunities, benefits such as company car, mutual result-based bonus, occupational pension, flexible working hours, training facilities, lunch at reduced prices and much more is offered. If you live in Stockholm, we offer a direct bus service between Stockholm and Södertälje, Scania Job Express.
