The department Propulsion Power System is responsible for development of the Electric Drives Systems in the hybrid and electric vehicles at Volvo Car group.
The group Electric Drives Software Development is responsible for delivering SW functionality for the electric drive system in all electrified vehicle program, both in-house software development and supplier developed software. Our vision is to deliver the best functionality on the market and continuously evolve our development platform. We are working with continuous integration as development praxis and we are striving towards continuous deployment of SW.
As a Function Developer in our group you will be part of a highly agile and fast paced development team and deliver state of the art functionality. You will utilize a model based development process and have responsibility of all phases of the development, from design and implementation to vehicle testing and fine tuning of the functionality.

Main responsibilities
* Model based SW development of electric drives functionality
* Perform development testing in various test environments
* Perform calibration activities in vehicle
* Utilize Autosar structured architecture, workflow & tool chain
* Interact with suppliers about SW design solutions
Required qualifications
* At least 5 years of experience from embedded software development
* Strong knowledge of Simulink and model based SW development
* Hands on experience with debugging/testing embedded software systems
* Strong understanding of development processes and agile methodologies
* Competence in Test automation, C-programming, SW build environments, Continuous integration framework, JIRA, Jenkins, SVN, INCA, SW testing (unit, MIL, SIL, HIL, Rigs, vehicle) is beneficial
* Electric motor vector control theory (for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) is meritorious
* University degree within Electronics, Mechatronics, SW engineering or equivalent
* Good English skills, spoken and written
* Driving license "B"
