We are looking for a highly motivated development driven leader to join our Supply Chain on our exciting journey to create customer value, growth, and profitability for IKEA. As Supply Manager at IKEA Components, you are highly involved in creating sustainable customer value for IKEA by leading and securing availability at lowest total cost by ensuring accuracy in planning and efficiency in ways of working.
You will take lead and develop business and people together. You have the capability to work both holistically and in the details with several topics ongoing in parallel in a fast-paced environment where your skills and abilities to lead and take conscious decisions will be required. You communicate confidently and clearly, in an inspirational way with the IKEA tone of voice and thrive in building networks with stakeholders across functions and organizations To succeed in this role, we believe you have several years of broad Supply Chain Management experience and has an appetite for constant improvements.
The assignment includes to secure Demand and Need planning, including monitoring and balancing inventory and contribute to availability end to end. More specifically, the assignment includes you to be responsible for the availability on global level and for the global total stock levels within set capacity frames. Furthermore, you need to be responsible for the demand and/or need planning process within the IKEA Components.
In the role of Supply Manager, you will lead a team of Demand and/or Need Planners and you will report to the Supply Chain Manager. As member of our Supply Chain management, it is expected that you contribute to all dimensions of our business. Together with the Supply Chain stakeholders, define our development journey and securing digital transformation and change management.
Is this your next challenge?
We are looking for a candidate with several years of experience within supply chain. You have a good knowledge of Need, Demand, Sales, Supply, Capacity planning and the interdependencies in between to reach availability at lowest total cost. You have proven success in leading people and processes within planning, logistics or similar.
You can lead from a totality and understand the actions you take and its effects on our supply chain. Highly motivated to lead & develop business and people and you get energy from working both on a tactical and an operational level. You have the power to engage and motivate the many co-workers to work towards common goals.
