What you will do
The SW 3D Camera Team consists of 14 developers that together forms a cross-functional software team that is responsible for our Ranger/Ruler products. A Ranger/Ruler is a 3D camera based on the laser triangulation principle. We work in a continuous integration (CI) environment with a high degree of test automation on target.
For the Ranger/Ruler products, we have a number of system integration tests running on a PC communicating with a camera. Historically, these tests were written in Java, while new tests are written in C#. This summer internship is about to migrate more tests from Java to C# and to improve the feedback time when running tests from Visual Studio to be able to shorten the feedback loop.
If you are interested in programming, 3D camera technology, testing, curious about how modern 3D camera technology works, and want to be a part of our continuous improvement's efforts, you are warmly welcome to contribute!
What you need
• You have finished at least your bachelor's degree at university level with a relevant profile such as Applied Physics, Software Development, Computer Science or
• Media Technology.
• You need knowledge in C# and Visual Studio. If you also have experience in Java and C++, we find that extra valuable.
