Volvo Cars Customer Services is looking for you who are interested in one of the following positions: Purchase Planning, Export Coordination, Inventory Management or Supplier Quality Assurance. In all of the positions you will be substituting ordinary staff on their holiday leave.
Customer Service is a unit within Volvo Car Corporation, responsible for the global aftermarket business, development and distribution of genuine parts, service- and repair methods and accessories. Our ambition is to be the most desired provider of parts and service to our Volvo dealers and customers and thereby contribute to creating the most exciting car ownership experience for the customer. To live up to this, our aim is to be a global customer service organization where we work together with the sales companies and the importers as a team. Our head office and central distribution center are located in Gothenburg with 1200 employees.
Job profiles:
Logistics are looking for students to work with various tasks during the summer and your placement will be based on your education, competence, experience and interest.
For instance you could be working with:
• Purchase Planning - Responsibility for securing availability of parts and accessories
• Export Coordination - Responsibility for coordinating the export of parts and accessories to Volvo companies, importers and retail distributors globally and to this related issues
• Inventory Management - Responsibility for stockholding of spare parts in Volvo Cars parts inventory globally
• Supplier Quality Assurance - Responsibility for and ensuring proper quality according to specification for Volvo Cars spare parts assortment
• Packaging engineering/Purchase planning - Responsibility for securing packaging availability and solve product and transport packaging issues
Your profile:
• Ongoing or completed education at University level with focus on logistics subjects
• Accustomed user of MS Office
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) other languages are meritorious
• Minimum 18 years old
• Ability to work independently and to take own initiative
• Good cooperation and communication skills
• Ability to be service minded, flexible and structured
