Competencies & skills required:
Experience with the setup, diagnosis, maintenance and repairs
Experience in food services
Good English (written and oral) communications skills.
A good working knowledge of Swedish would be an advantage.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Show initiative, work independently, and as part of a team.
A 'can do' attitude is more important than experience for the role.

REPORTS TO: Business Manager and Facility Coordinator (group leader)
TIME ALLOCATION: Substituting/Employment on request
Description / Purpose:
The maintenance and kitchen staff is responsible for supporting Stockholm International School day to day within different duties.
Maintenance staff will report to the Business Manager and work closely with the school 's Facility Coordinator (group leader). The primary responsibilities of this position is to provide a high quality of service, both technical and client focused, maintenance/repairs, and enhancement of other services at Stockholm International School. A large portion of this position is related to helping students and staff within the school. This position will provide school-wide support during both school and holiday periods.
Maintenance/kitchen staff Duties and Responsibilities
Outdoor traffic duties (no security skills required) - supervising students and vehicles during pickup time
Outdoor safety round duties in the park (no security skills required) - Mondays before 9.30, Tuesday to Friday before 11.00
Cover the reception(s) (when needed)
Provide set up for all SIS events, board meetings and similar
Miscellaneous maintenance; moving, repairs etc.
Garbage room hygiene- daily check-up
Garbage disposal / Recycling
